Question:

Where  do the boys come from?

Answer:

All the young men come from the State of Texas.

 

 

Question:

Why does  the "Boot Camp" not  take care of spiritual needs of the inmates?

Answer:

The federal government insist on separation of church and state. The State of Texas has decreed that the spiritual need of the inmates must be met and allows Air Chapel to present a program inside the confines of the Boot Camp.

 

 

Question:

How old are the boys at the Boot Camp?

Answer:

The county Boot Camp accepts young men between the ages of 12 to 18.

 

 

Question:

Are the people at Air Chapel required to take training like the Law Officers or something like that?

Answer:

No. The persons that are chosen by Air Chapel are first screened by the director, then the state does a background check. The requirements to become a volunteer at Air Chapel are determined by the director.

 

 

Question:

 Where does the Air Chapel get the money to operate these programs.

Answer:

The Air Chapel works only with money raised by the volunteers or money that is donated. We do not receive money from the state or county.

 

 

Question:

How can I contribute money to the Air Chapel program?

Answer:

You can reach Terry Dyer at the telephone numbers listed on our main web page, and because we are a 501(c)3 organization you donations are tax deductible.

 

 

Question:

Can I donate other than money to Air Chapel?

Answer:

Yes.  Air Chapel has programs to allow us to take in non-monetary donations, and we can provide you with a receipt so you can claim it at tax time. Call Terry Dyer at the Air Chapel for more information.

 

 

Question:

What does Air Chapel expect to Accomplish?

Answer:

Air Chapel expects troubled youth to have a personal transformation.

 

 

Question:

Why is transformation important?

Answer:

Transformation increases the self-realization that God loves us and He is the single most powerful meaning of our existence.
